Reverend Allen M. Baker, Senior Pastor

Reverend Baker is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian
Church of America and has been in the ministry for 25 years. A graduate of the
University of Alabama, he received his Master of Divinity from Reformed
Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. Prior to being called to Christ Community
Presbyterian in CT, he was the Senior Pastor of Golden Isles Presbyterian
Church for 10 years; while there he also served as Board Chairman of The
Whitfield School from 1994-2002. Pastor Baker has been actively involved in
foreign missions to Central American, Africa, The British Isles, Asia and the Far
East. He is a regular contributor to Come Follow magazine
(Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship) and produces a weekly e-mail devotional
entitled, "Forget None of His Benefits," available
at www.christcpc.org. Al and his wife, Wini, have been married over 31 years
and have three grown children, Andrew, Allen and Jeff.

Mark Reed, Assistant Pastor and Campus Minister
Mark is a 2003 graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. He graduated from Taylor University in 1995. Through Reformed University Fellowship (RUF), the campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church of America, he is in his third year of ministry to students at Trinity College in Hartford (www.trinity.ruf.org). Mark’s winsome personality, love for people, and passion for the church are being used to reach students for Christ and to equip them to serve in the Kingdom of God . Mark and his wife, Kristi, were married in 1999 and they have two sons, Walker (5/29/2003), and Marshall (5/23/2006).

Brad Smith, Director of Music and Worship
Brad is a 1985 graduate of Princeton University with a B.A. in Economics who served for a number of years as Senior Vice President, Manager of Corporate Services Marketing for the Wachovia Corporation in Atlanta, GA. Brad’s first love, however, is music and worship - his ministry focus for more than 20 years. After completing a Master of Church Music at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2003, Brad joined our team with a wealth of experience directing adult and youth choirs, as well as instrumental ensembles. Brad and his wife, Cara, have been married 20 years and have two children, Taylor and Madeline.
